Northwest Welsh Classic - 2007

It was a fantastic NWWC to say the least this year, June 2, 2007 in Moses Lake, Washington. To start things off our own bred section A colt by *Pendock Nightcap, Prairie Rose Tryston was Jr. champion under US judge, Sarah Jane Martin, & res. jr. champion under UK judge and breeder Mr. Anthony Tilly . Our section A mare co-owned with Wishbroke Welsh, *Storyland Just A Moment went grand & res. grand champion section A. Our lovely stallion *Pendock Nightcap was grand champion sec.A under Judge Tilly & res. grand under the US judge. Then came our sec. B filly, Prairie Rose Hello Gorgeous! beautifully produced and shown by Unbridled Oaks, double Jr. champion section B . From there it got even better for us when the section D mare Mynydd Hir Moorea took grand champion cob under UK judge , Mr. Tilly and res. grand under the US judge and to put the icing on our cake Mynydd Hir Moorea won the Supreme championship under Judge Mr. Anthony Tilly from Tiffwyl Stud England and our beautiful mare *Storyland Just A Moment went Supreme champion under the US Judge, Sarah Jane Martin. It was a supurb gelding class as well, the beautiful leased sec. B gelding from Unbridled Oaks, Casino Royal, won double res. Supreme champions!
Gabrielle took the reins after the halter classes and rode Casino to a wonderful first place in the green pony class and a wonderful 4th in the ridden A/B class along with a second and third and fourth in her other classes . Gabby did a fabulous job and her pony was complimented by both judges on a job well done . Casino is a priceless pony and we adore him Annie! Thank you to my sister Tina for being there for me and being the best mentor a little sister could ever have!

Chelsea and Nightcap Win Again! We finally made it back from Red Deer Alberta,Canada where we showed our lovely section A stallion Pendock Nightcap and the beautiful D filly, Menai Chelsea. Nightcap put on a beautiful show for the crowd and he swept the senior section A stallion grand championship under both judges . We are very proud of him and his expert handler Miss. Annie Beamer , my dear niece , who loves to show him for me! The one win that probably meant the most to me because it really isn't cob lover country up there , was my win with Chelsea. Chelsea swept the cob division with many wows from the crowd and she made cob lovers out of non cob loving people! In the supreme class Chelsea once again took home a neck sash for our small stud, winning the res.supreme championship in style. Chelsea is definately carring on the Menai family traditions winning an international res.supreme championship!

We welcome a beautiful Section B Filly, who is *Llanarth Cavalcade's last foal and out of our beloved mare, Sassy. She has been named Prairie Rose's Hello Gorgeous! Below are photos of Ticky at a day old
